Roj Bash - Good Day

Mem u Zin by Ehmedi Xani, it wasn't only a book, but rather it was a revolution by all means over all aspects of life at that time. Now after all these years, after Kurd gained something, we need another Mem u Zin by another Ehmedi Xani, i.e., we need another revolution.

By this we start our blog.

It's written in their official website "Happy Birthday Mandela":

"Send your birthday wishes to Mr Nelson Mandela and join people from around the world in celebrating his 90th birthday on July 18th.
Your message will be included in our campaign to make the biggest birthday card ever, and you never know your message might even be up on a big screen at Hyde Park on June 27th!
The campaign hopes to raise much needed funds for Mr Mandela's charities, helping them all continue his legacy."

This honorable great leader, Nelson Mandela, once refused to receive the Atatürk Peace Award in 1992 by Turkey. He refused the Award because bad treatment of Turkish goverment toward Kurdish people and human rights violations committed by Turkey.

The official Site of The African National Congress said:

"STATEMENT ON THE ATATURK AWARD GIVEN TO Nelson Mandela

The African National Congress is aware of the announcement by the Government of Turkey that the Ataturk Award will be presented to ANC President on 19 May.

Nelson Mandela has spent his whole life in the service of democracy, human rights and freedom from oppression.

The ANC wishes to state quite categorically that Mr Mandela has not accepted the Ataturk Award, and has no plans to visit Turkey. The ANC's attitude does not reflect any negative view of Kemal Ataturk, the reformer and founder of modern Turkey."

And look what they said to this great man when he refused the Award:

The 'Ataturk Peace Award', which has been awarded since 1984, was awarded to Nelson Mandela in 1992 for being anti-racist and a hero. When he refused the award because of the oppression of the Kurds, he was called "An insolent African", "An ugly African" and "The terrorist Mandela".

But later accepted the award in 1999, after intensive pressure by international community.

Happy Birthday Sir, may our world fill with people like you....
